Land acknowledgment
The Learning Disabilities Association of Canada (LDAC) acknowledges that it is active across the traditional, ancestral territories of the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples of Canada. We recognize the enduring presence and deep traditional knowledge of Indigenous peoples connected to this land. We are grateful for the opportunity to be here, and we thank all the generations of people who have taken care of this land for thousands of years.
LDAC is committed to recognizing and respecting the diverse cultures, languages, and experiences of the Indigenous peoples of Canada. We believe it is our collective responsibility to honour their histories, cultures, and rights as we work together to forge a better future.
We also know that you are joining us from many places near and far, and we acknowledge the traditional owners and caretakers of those lands.
